Hart's Recipe of the Season

Tony's Fish Cakes Recipe
500g mixed fish
150g floury potatoes
1 onion studded with cloves
1 spring onion
1 green chilli
10g garlic butter
1 lemon juiced
tsp sweet mustard and mayo
salt & pepper.........

Cook fish in milk and clove studded onion - 3 mins
  1. Steam potatoes and mash,  finish with milk, butter, salt and pepper
  2. Melt garlic butter with chopped spring onion and chilli.
  3. Add to fish with mayo, mustard & lemon juice, mix and chill (30 mins).  
  4. Roll into balls - dip in egg, flour & breadcrumbs. 
  5. Heat frying pan - sunflower oil - fry 5 mins each side.   
  6. Served with organic mixed salad, fried potatoes, relish and tartare sauce
  7. Enjoy!
